Raised beds built on sloped ground have taller sides on the downslope. Existing hose connection is between the two center beds. A ramp was used to fill the beds with a wheelbarrow. Require less bending and therefore are physically easier to tend for longer in our lives. The soil in raised beds is protected from the compaction of foot traffic. The big question was what material to use for the raised beds.
